Passero Arlington Heights First Look Video

This Arlington Heights restaurant will feature seasonal Italian American cuisine in its cozy and newly remodeled sixty-seat space in the beautiful downtown area.

Food

Passero Executive Chef and Partner Matt Peota, who was most recently a sous chef for Rick Bayless’ Frontera Hospitality Group shared that establishing relationships with local farms and vendors was a top priority when the concept began to come together. He has developed a menu filled with what I’m sure will quickly become local favorites that include artisan cheeses, fresh hand-made pastas, small plates and some gluten free options. There’s also a boutique wine list alongside the craft beer and cocktails that have been curated by front of house manager Scott, a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant alumnus.

Atmosphere

The space has been beautifully remodeled by Rikki Peota, Chef Matt’s wife and partner in the restaurant. She chose modern finishes and a muted color palette that complement the distressed wood flooring throughout the dining room and private event area located at the rear of the eatery.

Additional Information

Matt and Rikki are bringing an urban-feel to downtown Arlington Heights. Although Passero will soon be set up to accept reservations via Opentable they want to also encourage locals to walk-in too. They are set to open on Wednesday, October 25th. Please bookmark this article and check back frequently for more information including specific menu items and hours of operation.
