Brick Fest Live, a Lego Fan Experience + Giveaway (Closed)

Big News, we have partnered with Brick Fest Live for the Chicago event to do a giveaway of a family 4 pack of passes to  Brick Fest Live for readers of Eat The Burbs. This year the event will be held at the Donald E. Stephens convention center in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, IL on Oct 2nd – 4th.

Brick Fest Live is for adults and children alike, people who love Lego +fun! As a mom, I’ve stepped on my share of Lego bricks at home and was subsequently scolded by my children. Although they build with Lego all of the time, they seem to never tire of it, because there is just so much to do. My youngest loves building towers as tall as he is and my oldest is a pro at building Lego cars. I love the way that Lego stretches the imagination of my children, in a world of cell phones, tablets, computers and television, they would still prefer to build cool things together.

If you couldn’t tell by now, Lego means alot to my family. Now tell me about yours! Enter to win a 4-pack of tickets to Brick Fest Live in Chicago! To enter to win just tell us why you or your children love Lego in the comments below!

A winner will be chosen randomly and tickets will be mailed. All entries must be received by 11:59pm cst on 9/13/2015 when this giveaway contest ends.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. More on the Terms and Conditions.

My son fell in love with Lego at one years old when we purchased the very large block set from ToysRus. Having been born at 30 weeks, we struggled with some physical developmental milestones for a little bit like walking and performing normal one year old tasks. I thought long and hard about purchasing legos but did so for his first birthday. Dad and I worked with him to build the blocks and each year for his birthday, we purchase another set. Now, Dad will randomly mail him a set and we will act surprised when it comes. He loves them all and the different variations like Ninja Turtles. This event would be my soon to be six year olds dream.

  2. My 4 year old son was super excited when we went to the Lego exhibit at the Morton Arboretum yesterday. He wants me to buy him a Lego set now so he can build animals from it 😀

Awesome! I wish I could say it’s my kids that love Lego, but I think my husband loves them more. He would be so excited to go to this!

  4. Lego. My little guy loves them.. building something, then taking it apart to build something else. While I must use my imagination to figure out what the creations are, I would not have it any other way.
