Recently I had the pleasure of speaking with Restaurateur and Chef Stephanie Izard of Top Chef about a cookbook that she is putting together on Pinterest to showcase some delicious recipes that she has developed using Wavy Lays potato chips. The cookbook will be the first of its kind and will open up many more options for Cookbook Enthusiasts. Pinterest is already filled with billions of recipe pins, so it is the PERFECT place for this Wavy Lays cookbook by Chef Izard. In the video Stephanie dishes on when we can expect the Pinterest Cookbook to be released and some of her favorite ways to enjoy her personal time. Check it out…

While we wait on the Cookbook to be released, we can chew on this Recipe by Chef Stephanie Izard:

Cheesy Chippy Crumble

A delicious and versatile sweet and salty crumble that tastes great on top of pancakes, yogurt, ice cream, or even baked as a streusel on top of your favorite muffins. It’s also delicious on its own!

Ingredients:

2/3 cup Lay’s Wavy original potato chips – made into crumbs
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cup Quaker oats
1/3 cup light brown sugar
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 stick plus 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

Directions:

Step 1: Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer and mix until everything comes together (you may also use your hands if you don’t want to use a mixer).

Step 2: Spread the mixture out onto a cookie sheet and bake at 325° for about 10 minutes. The crumble should be dry and golden. Chill slightly before using.

Step 3: Enjoy!
