Food Lovers and deal seekers can rejoice right along-side me because Chicago Restaurant Week is January 24 – February 09, 2025. It’s right around the corner and this year they have more than 50 suburban restaurants providing some of the best deals around!

This is the 18th annual restaurant week featuring special prix fixe menus starting at $30 – $60 for brunch, lunch and dinner options along with upgraded dinner experiences (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity).

There are usually plenty of suburban restaurant options on the list to choose from and this year should be no different, there shouldn’t be any shortage of date nights being planned. So checkout Choose Chicago for the updates.

Restaurant Week Menus

After looking at all the menus, I did come across several vegetarian and gluten free options, which is a great thing for foodies with special diet needs. For the rest of us there were quite a few restaurants featuring Short Ribs, Berkshire Pork, Filet, Lobster and plenty of Pasta. I’m hungry just thinking of it all.

If Chicago Restaurant Week isn’t your thing, there are plenty of Chicago Suburbs doing their own Restaurant Week events. Check these out.

Wheaton Restaurant Week

Downtown Wheaton Restaurant Week starts on January 16th through January 26th, 2025. Several restaurants are offering special menu items, discounts and pre-fixe menus. You’ll want to make reservations and also inform your server when you’re seated that you are interested in the restaurant week menu in order to enjoy these specials. Participating restaurants and menus are listed on the Downtown Wheaton website.

Geneva Restaurant Week

Geneva restaurant week is scheduled for January 18th through January 26th, 2025. There are about 20 restaurants participating with deals of all types. There are no coupons or downloadable discounts necessary to enjoy these special menus. Instead you’ll want to check their website and mention it to the server.

Naperville Restaurant Week

Naperville restaurant week is taking place January 20th and running through February 3rd, 2025. Naperville has deals posted for a bunch of restaurants already, with more being added. Each Restaurant is offering a custom deal! In order to participate you’ll need to download each offer from their website. Choose from all types of cuisines; Steakhouse, Indian and Italian just to name a few.

Aurora Restaurant Week

Aurora is hosting it’s first-ever Restaurant Week this year! The restaurant scene in Aurora, Il is diverse and growing, so it’s perfect place to visit a ton of places for restaurant week specials. Aurora Restaurant Week is January 21 through February 4, 2025. They’ve put together an informative interactive map for you to decide where to go. There are more than 50 restaurants participating.

Frankfort, IL Restaurant Week

Frankfort Restaurant Week is scheduled for January 30th – February 9th, 2025.

Participating restaurants will be offering special menus with exclusive deals. It’s a great opportunity to sample some of the best food in Frankfort.

North Shore Restaurant Month

Chicago North Shore Restaurant Month is right around the corner, it begins February 1st through February 28th, 2025, excluding Valentine’s Day February 14^th. There are dozens of restaurants participating in suburbs around the North Shore like Evanston, Northbrook, Skokie and Wheeling. In order to get the specifics on each prix fixe menu and discount as well as download the dining certificate necessary to access them, go to the Visit Chicago North Shore site and look for February Restaurant Month.

Lake County Restaurant Month

There will be 1 whole month of special offers and menus around Lake County this February 1, 2025 -February 28, 2025 for The Lake County February Flavor Festival. Quite a few restaurants will be participating in Lake County Restaurant Week, so there will be no shortage of restaurants to choose from. If you engage in social media play, use their hashtags #LakeCountyRW, #LCFlavorFestival, #LCLibationTrail or #LetsGoLakeCounty and make reservations early to participate.

St. Charles Restaurant Week

Saint Charles restaurant week is scheduled for February 3rd through February 7th, 2025. St. Charles will be releasing their list of participating restaurants on the city website soon. In order to get the deal you will be able to download discount cards that will save you 20% off of bills $45 or more!

Plainfield Restaurant Week

Plainfield IL restaurant week is scheduled for February 23rd-29th, 2020. There are several Plainfield restaurants participating, providing a variety of deals. Some have special menus, while others are offering a discount off of menu items. There are no coupons necessary to enjoy these special deals, simply inform your server when you’re seated that you are interested in the restaurant week menu. Participating restaurants are listed on their site.

Batavia Restaurant Week Shiver By The River

There are special offers abound throughout Batavia from February 15 – March 14, 2024. The menus available at each restaurant will be unique. This is a new initiative using a local dining pass to replace Batavia Restaurant Madness Week. There will be no shortage of restaurants to visit during this month long celebration.

Westmont Restaurant Week

The annual Westmont Restaurant Week is set to begin Febuary 20th through March 2nd, 2025. The Westmont Chamber of Commerce is setting the stage for local food lovers to “Taste Around the World in Westmont”. There are more than 20 restaurants joining the roster and some accept reservations. The menu offerings are available on the chamber site.

Elmhurst Restaurant Week

Restaurants across Elmhurst will be offering value priced lunch and dinner specials that will change often during the restaurant week event. Prices will range from inexpensive approx $10 to expensive $50. The dates will be February 21, 2025 – March 2, 2025. Some restaurants may require reservations.

Elmwood Park Restaurant Week

The annual Elmwood Park Restaurant Week is set to begin Febuary 21st through March 2nd, 2025. The suburb is celebrating local food from casual quick lunches and juices to fine dining. There are several restaurants offering a variety of deals during restaurant week.

Glen Ellyn Restaurant Week

Restaurants in Glen Ellyn will be offering prix fixe menus for the restaurant week event. During Glen Ellyn Restaurant Week there will be no need for tickets or special passes, just mention restaurant week. Prices and promotions will be advertised on downtown Glen Ellyn. The restaurant week dates are February 21st – March 2, 2025.

La Grange Restaurant Week

For 11 days restaurants around La Grange will be offering value priced special menus of diverse cuisines from all around the world. La Grange Restaurant Week is February 27th – March 9, 2025. The prix fixe menus range in price from from a percentage off through $99 excluding tax and gratuity for both lunch and dinner. In order to enjoy the menus diners should contact participating restaurants for reservations.

Lockport Restaurant Week

During Lockport Restaurant Week diners can enjoy prix fixe menus throughout the city for lunch and dinner at varying price points. The meal deals will be available over two weeks from February 26 – March 10, 2024. Some restaurants have deals as low as $5 and others have multi-course experiences around $50.00. Complimentary Valet parking is available in the downtown area of the city. Social media posts are encouraged using hashtags like #LockportRestaurantWeek #EatLockport #LRW2024

Chicago Northwest Restaurant Week

Northwest suburban Eat Local Week will take place for 10 days beginning February 28th – March 9th, 2025. Restaurants all over Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village and other Northwest suburbs will be participating. In order to find out pricing you will need to check out the special menus for each restaurant on the Chicago NW website.

Hanover Park Restaurant Week

Hanover Park is back with Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants will be offering menu discounts from March 7th through March 16th, 2025 for lunch and dinner at varying price points. There is everything from donut shops to iconic suburban restaurants on the Hanover Park restaurant week list. Locals and visitors alike are invited to enjoy these deals.

Rosemont Restaurant Week

Rosemont Restaurant Week is scheduled for March 3rd through March 9th, 2024.

Participating restaurants will be offering special menus of varying price tags. Foodies from all over Chicagoland are encouraged to visit Rosemont and enjoy some of the best cuisine in the suburbs.

Hinsdale Restaurant Week

Hinsdale is kicking off their annual Hinsdale Restaurant Week, it begins April 12th-April 20th, 2024. This year the restaurants will feature breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Check their website for their Restaurant list and Restaurant Week menus.

Lisle Restaurant Week

Lisle Restaurant Week 2024 is coming soon. Slated for April 16 – April 19. Details are still being ironed out, check back for deals and more very soon.

Joliet Area Restaurant Week

In 2024 Joliet Restaurant Week is BACK April 19 – April 28, check back for deals and details soon.

McHenry County Restaurant Week

McHenry County Restaurant Week is currently on hiatus, per Naturally McHenry County. Check back for updates.

New Lenox Restaurant Week

New Lenox Restaurant Week 2025 isnt coming this fall. The Village of New Lenox and the Chamber are hosting restaurant week September 5 – September 12, 2023. The South Suburbs of Chicago will be excited to visit restaurants across New Lenox for amazing discounts and specials. Be sure to check back for participating restaurants and details soon.
