When you are married and a parent, especially to young kids, date nights often get put on the back burner. Add to that the demands of work and you might be asking, date night, what’s that? Trust me, I understand. If you’ve been reading Eat The Burbs for any length of time then you’ve probably read a few of my posts about committing to date night.
Parenting is rewarding and exciting and tough but let’s be honest marriage is all of those things too. If you’re anything like my husband and I then you probably make it a top priority to have fun with your kids, lots of fun! Date your spouse
Date nights are well deserved treat for married couples especially those with kids. So try to fit them in. If you start to feel like they’re getting pushed further and further out then it’s time to make them a priority.
So, if you have been missing out on date night due to lack of time, make some time, stat!
This was fun to write, I’m totally thinking about doing a Part 2 to this and maybe including some of the places we enjoy. What do you think? Send me a message on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter and let me know if you want me do Part 2. Thanks for reading!
