Igloo Restaurant Dining In The Chicago Suburbs

If you’re anything like me, you’ve started to look for a restaurant near you with a great menu and one of those domes that started to pop up outside of breweries and restaurants across the Chicago Suburbs. I’ve seen them called everything from igloos to pods to greenhouses.

The coolest thing about this outdoor dining option is the privacy you get to enjoy with close family and friends.

Igloo Dining Northwest Suburbs

Igloo restaurants have been such a hit in the Northwest Suburbs. Pods, huts, heated domes and greenhouses popped up everywhere in 2021, including some pretty popular ones in Arlington Heights and Schaumburg. In 2023 some restaurants have chosen to continue to do other things, so this guide may change regularly.

Naperville igloos are constantly booked, as are the ones in Saint Charles. Some restaurant lovers have been asking that the outdoor igloos return annually during the winter. The private dining experience has been described as “so much fun” by patrons across the Chicago Suburbs.
