(NAPERVILLE, IL) – Restaurant goers in Naperville, IL will soon have a new place to satisfy their cravings for great food and award-winning, handcrafted beers thanks to the grand opening of the 11,000 square foot Granite City Food & Brewery on October 29, 2014, located at 1828 Abriter Court Naperville, IL 60563 in the new Freedom Plaza off of I-88 and Freedom Drive. The polished casual Modern American restaurant will feature a wide variety of dishes prepared from made-from-scratch recipes as well as an on-site microbrewery.
New restaurant highlights include:
- GOURMET MENU: Granite City Food & Brewery will offer a delicious, diverse menu with highlights including Ponzu Glazed Salmon, Bone-In Ribeye, Braised Bison Short Ribs and more. Gluten-free and vegetarian menu items will also be available.
- ON-SITE MICRO BREWERY: The brewery, which is visible from inside the restaurant and available for tours, showcases a variety of signature beers that are made on-site such as The Duke (Pale Ale), The Bennie (Bock), Batch 1000 (Double IPA), The Northern (American Style Light Lager) and The Stout. The handcrafted beers –also available in growlers—are made with a patented brewing process, known as Fermentus Interruptus™, and offer unique styles and flavors not typically produced by major breweries.
- LOCAL BREWS ON TAP: In addition to Granite City Food & Brewery’s handcrafted beers, the restaurant will feature 10 local beers on tap from renowned Chicagoland breweries such as Two Brothers Brewing Company, Solemn Oath Brewery and Penrose Brewing Company.
