Suburban Restaurant Week

I don’t know about you but I love a good deal, so when restaurant week rolls around I try to knock out a few of the places on my bucket list and save myself some cash in the process. If you aren’t familiar with restaurant week, it’s an event where multiple restaurants in a city, suburb, or village offer prix fixe meals for a set period of time. Although often called restaurant week, it’s usually more than 7 days long!!!

Find Out Where to Eat

I wrote about Chicago Restaurant Week a few weeks ago, it starts this Friday, January 30th and there are some great restaurants in the suburbs participating, be sure to checkout my post about the places not to miss here. Now, as great as Chicago Restaurant Week is, I’m really glad to see more suburbs coordinating their own restaurant weeks. Last year I wrote about 3 suburban restaurant week events and this year I’m super excited that I have found 5. Naperville, Oak Park, Geneva, Northwest Suburbs, & St. Charles are all hosting restaurant weeks, can I get a huzzah!! Deals are abound and in most cases there are no coupons or phone apps needed!

It’s a lot to take in I know, there are a hell of a lot of great restaurants in the suburbs but don’t worry, I have put together a calendar to help you keep track of who is doing what and when, nice of me, I know. You’ll also be able to access links to each restaurant week website for details about which restaurants are participating and what the menus are. I hope that the calendar helps you get all of your restaurant visits organized. If you have Gmail you can download each of the events from the Eat The Burbs event calendar to your own by clicking the google calendar image button in the bottom right hand corner of the calendar.

So, tell me, do you know of any suburbs having a restaurant week event that I didn’t mention above? If so, leave me a comment so that I can be sure to add them to my list.

Now, get out there and EAT THE BURBS.
